"Many of the booths were working for a cause. Loved Shinedwn and The Offspring. The delays getting into the staging area were disappointing after the stage sank. The music was awesome on Friday. I was very disappointed that I was not allowed to exit and reenter to get a jacket. I don't like having to buy tickets for beverages. At least the band playing on the small stage rocked while we had to wait. Saturday, after the waiting and waiting and waiting, a DJ came on. He played way too long before the wiz dude came out. I'm grateful to the Mannheim Steamroller crew for being able to help build a makeshift stage so the show wasn't canceled. That dude has stage presence. They put on a great show covering many genres. The organizers should have had a hose or something to help us clean up. MUD!!!"

I took my mother and wife to the Peoria vs. Mannheim Steamroller match on Friday, our first experience. Getting tickets was a breeze with ticketmaster. Our tickets were waiting at Will Call. We arrived 45 minutes early to explore the Cedar Park Center and claim our complimentary t-shirts for the first 3000 attendees. The venue is impressive and helped us decide on our future seat choices. Parking was conveniently located, and we made it to the doors with just a 2-minute walk. The attendance was slightly over 4000, with the venue only 70% full. Saturdays may be more crowded. If convenience is a priority, consider the $20 Logo section. The cheaper seats worked well for us. I managed to grab a beer and $1 hot dogs during the first intermission without any hassle. Despite the Stars' loss, we enjoyed ourselves. It took us around 2 minutes from starting the car to leaving the parking lot. For those who appreciate community entertainment, Mannheim Steamroller Hockey at the CPCenter is unbeatable. Support the team and keep them in town.
